It has been far to long....

But life seems to have gotten in the way and taken me away from the blog world....  Hopefully things will settle down after the holidays and I can get back to cooking and blogging!

Last night I started my holiday cookie making so I needed an easy dinner.  I picked up Gardein Seven Grain Crispy (meatless)Tenders after one of my buds suggested them.  I am not a big fan of frozen food but they were delicious!  I whipped up a little curry honey mustard for dipping and some spicy green beans, it was the perfect meal on the go!

Curry Honey Mustard

1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup spicy mustard
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1 1/2 tsp curry powder

Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl.  Adjust amount of ginger and curry powder to your liking.  Cook chicken tenders according to package and serve with the curry honey mustard on the side.

Spicy Green Beans

3 cups of fresh green beans trimmed
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp chili garlic sauce

Steam green beans in a covered pan with enough water to cover well cover the bottom of the pan.  Green beans are ready when the water is almost evaporated.  Drain excess water.  Add olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder and chili garlic sauce, stir until well coated.  Saute for 2 minutes.
